NELSON ROTARY CLUB

WEEKLY MEETINGS RESUMED The Nelson Rotary Club to-day re* turned its weekly luncheons after the Christmas vacation. Rotarian President J. G. McKay presiding. Colonel C. B. Brereton spoke in support of the work of the New Zealand Defence League, and made an appeal for a large attendance at a public meeting to be held in Nelson next Tuesday evening. Rotarian Morris, of Brisbane, who is a member of the Queensland Bow'mp tourists, gave a short talk on impressions gained on a recent visit to China and Japan with an Australian Rotarian goodwill party A vote of thanks wit carried on the motion of the President.
