He later had consultations with Lord Halifax, Foreign Secretary, Sir Samuel Hoaie. Sir Thomas Inskip. Mr Oliver Stanley, and Mr Malcolm MacDonald. Mr C. R. Atlec and Mr A. Greenwood (Labour) called on Mr Chamberlain in the evening, when it is understood the Prime Minister gave them an account of the Rome visit.
