WEDDING
TURNER —MACSHANE A quiet wedding, which took place at St. Barnabas Church. Stoke, on 26th December, saw the uniting of two old and highly respected Marlborough families, the marriage being that of Mildred Ann Radcliffe. youngest daughter of Mr P. A. and the late Mrs Mac Shane, of Picton. to Geoffrey Frederick Roworth, fourth son of Mr and Mrs P. Turner, of Blenheim. The bride, who is the granddaughter of 4he late John Octavius and Ann Western, the “Lindens.” Picton, and the niece of Mrs Radcliffe Wright-Biddulph. “Barewood,” Seddon, was given away by her brother-in-law, Mr E. Temple White, of Stoke. She wore a smartly-tailored pink linen costume with white hat and accessories. After the ceremony a reception was held at the residence of her sister. Mrs E. Temple White, who was assisted by Miss Mac Shane, of Seddon. Later the bridal pair left by plane for the north.
