REMISSION OF SENTENCE

After writing an apology from gaol Frank Harrison was releasced by the same judges he threw tomatoes at. The remission was granted owing to it being Christmas.
There was an astounding scene in the Court of Appeal on 2nd December v hen Frank Harrison, after the rejection ,f his application for a new County Court •* ial, returned to the Court when the judges were departing at lunchtime and should: “1 want justice,” at the same time throwing several tomatoes at Lord .Justices Cluuson and Goddaid. The tomatoes missed the judges and burst against a door. A spectator seized Harrison's arm, preventing him throwing mote. The judges returned to the bench. Lord Justice Clauson said: “We have deult with the application to the best of our ability.”
Harrison was sentenced to six weeks' imprisonment. Yelling that there was no justice left in England he was hustled
