Vickerman, conveyed the congratulations of the Minister of Industries and Commerce, Mr Sullivan, on their fine I effort in raising funds for the provision! of a playground for children of Foxton | Mr Vickerman also said that the direc- \ tors had every confidence for the expansion of the works during the coming year. Visitors present included Mr J. T. Gailey, Belfast, and Mr Melville Wright, of the High Commissioner’s Office. Lon- ; don. Mr Wright congratulated em- ! ployees on the product now being turn- j ed out and the progress maintained, ex- j pressing the opinion that the success of the enterprise was assured.
