The only absentee was Mr | Burnett (Temuka). The Leader of the Opposition. Mr Hamilton, who presided, I stated last evening that the main object ot the caucus was to give members of the I party elected lo Parliament for the first time at the general election last mouth jan opportunity of meeting their colj leagues and expressing their view's. Another purpose for which the caucus | had been called was to decide upon a line of action in the immediate future, mainly in regard to organisation, j The caucus will be continued to-day. This afternoon the members will meet the Dominion Council of the National Party.
