The Wanganui Jockey Club's winter meeting was continued in fine weather with a large attendance. In the adjourned inquiry into C. G Goulsbro's handling of Catalogue in the Connolly Handicap, the rider was disqualified for six months. Results:— Hack Hunter’s Steeplechase, of £200: about two miles.—l Artful Dodger. 10..1 (N. The Ashburton County Racing Club's autumn meeting was held to-day in 1 fine weather on a good track. There , was a large attendance. Results:— Longbeach Hurdles Handicap, of £140: one mile and a half and 110 yards—4-4 The Surgeon, 10.4, 1; 3-3 Courtyard. 10.9. 2; 2-2 Grampian. 9.12. 3. All started. Won by a length, a head. Time, 2.51. SOUTHLAND RACING CLUB INVERCARGILL. This Day. The weather was fine, the track in I splendid order, and a good attendance for the Southland Racing Club’s fixture to-day. The Forbury Park Trotting Club’s meeting was continued in fine weather on a fast track with a large attendance. WAIKATO TROTTING CLUB HAMILTON, This Day. The Waikato Trotting Club’s meeting was favoured by fine weather. There was a large attendance and the track was in good order. Results:— Introductory Handicap, of £135; 3.49 class; one mile and a half.—2-1 Lady Bunker, 84yds bhd (J. P. Paul), 1; 1-3 Dick Redmond, scr (A. T. Newdick), 2; 6-8 Moira Bingen, scr (F. R. Smith), 3. Scratched: Aurumar, Canadian, Native Princess. Won by 1J lengths and 2£ lengths. Times, 3.35 4-5, 3.43 1-5, 3.44 1-5.
