The Wanganui Jockey Club's winter meeting was continued in fine weather with a large attendance. In the adjourned inquiry into C. G Goulsbro's handling of Catalogue in the Connolly Handicap, the rider was disqualified for six months. Results:— Hack Hunter’s Steeplechase, of £200: about two miles.—l Artful Dodger. 10..1 (N. The Ashburton County Racing Club's autumn meeting was held to-day in 1 fine weather on a good track. There , was a large attendance. WAIKATO TROTTING CLUB HAMILTON, This Day. The Waikato Trotting Club’s meeting was favoured by fine weather. There was a large attendance and the track was in good order.
