GRIEVANCES TO BE MET CZECH NATIONAL STATUTE FORECAST OF PROVISIONS (United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph-Copy right! (Received 4th May, 9.0 a.m.) LONDON, 3rd May. The correspondent of "The Times” at Prague says Dr. Hodza’s national statute to meet the Sudeten Germans’ grievances is believed to include the following provisions:— Extension of ihe law to enable the German language to rank equal with Czech or Slovak Cultural autonomy to all minorities in conjunction with provision is a separate budget for cultural and educational administration on national lines for the minorities and the administration of all cultural and educational interests. including schools, in the language of the respective minority.
Employment of civil servants proportional to the mlnuority in relation to the total population. Proportional participation of the minorities in Governmental and municipal contracts. Establishment of a special controller’s office in which the minorities will be proportionally represented to supervise the impartial administration of the statute provisions.
