NEW MEMBER OF HARBOUR BOARD
MR J. B. CARR GOVERNMENT NOMINEE Mr J. B. Carr, who has been appointed a member of the Nelson Harbour Board as Government nominee, has been managing secretary of the Nelson Co-operative Society’s store for the past 17 years. He is a Fellow of the New Zealand Institute of Secretaries, director of the New Zealand Co-opera-tive Alliance. Wellington; director of the Nelson Co-operative Building Society (Starr-Bowkett); and is associated with various sporting bodies. Mr Carr is also chairman of the Nelson Labour Representation Committee.
