Mr John Oldham Johnson, secretary of the Wellington Waterside Workers’ Union, has been appointed Government representative on the Wellington Harbour Board. He will replace Mr Andrew Fletcher, who has been a member of the board for eight years, and whose term expires on 27th April. The following have been appointed as Government representatives on provincial harbour boards:— Messrs Edward James Bo water, Foxton: William Rowe Clark and Richard Murray, Gisborne: David Emery Higgins and Norman William Naylor. Havelock: Edward Jasper Herrick and Luther Stephenson. Napier; James Ryland Cruickshank, New Plymouth; Daniel Mourie, Opunake; Frank Parsons. Patea; Patrick Joseph O’Kane, and I Harry Lionel Harker, Wairoa; Darnell j Dwyer, Wanganui. NEW LYTTELTON MEMBER CHRISTCHURCH, 29th March, j Mr R. E.
