RECORD BY NEW ZEALANDER (United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copy right 1 SYDNEY, 28th March. V. B. Gray, New Zealand, broke the Australian and New Zealand record for a model aeroplane indoor flight, his machine remaining aloft 11 minutes 23 1-5 seconds.

Mr Gray is one of three Auckland model builders who left New Zealand recently to compete in the Australian model flying championships. He is among New Zealand’s foremost model flyers and in 1936 won the Moffett International Trophy, the premier American award in model aviation.
