ROTORUA, This Day. When his horse took fright, throwing him heavily to the roadway, Abraham Haira, a thirteen-year-old schoolboy of Horohoro, was killed instantly on the Atiamuri road about nine miles from Rotorua. The accident was witnessed by a passing motorist who summoned the police and the ambulance, but it was found that the boy's neck had been broken.
