Mr Lang, addressing the conference of the Australian Labour Party electorate branch presidents, party officials, and Labour members of Parliament, disclosetd the main points that would be included in his election policy speech. These were the abolition of the wages tax “if unemployment is as low as the Premier claims it to be,” a fortyhour week and legislation to break up large estates.
