Two months ago an ex-officer decid--5 cd to sell his sword at a second-hand clothes store where there is a market 5 for such things. He was offered 151 s. r The other day he was invited to a brother officer’s wedding, at which it was requested that uniforms should be worn. He went to the same store to hire a sword. He was handed his own : sword, and told that the hiring fee * would be 255. with £2 deposit.
