SUCCESSOR TO MR STARKEY

The British High Commissioner and Commander-in-Chief in Palestine, Lieut -General Sir Arthur YVauchope, has arranged for Mr Lankester Harding. Director of Antiquities, Transjordania, and formerly associated with the Wellcome-Marston Expedition, to carry on the work of the late Mr J. L. Starkey, at Lacliish.

Mr Starkey, formerly director of the expedition, was reported on 10th January to have been killed in a holdup.
