MINOR ASSOCIATIONS DRAW MATCH WITH CANTERBURY AT PALMERSTON NORTH [By Telegraph-Press Association] PALMERSTON N.. 13th January. Although they outplayed their opponents in all departments, the Canterbury Plunket Shield team drew with the Wellington Minor Associations’ team in the second day’s play at the Sportsground to-day. The Minor Associations made 223 in the first innings, and Canterbury’s reply was 330. The start of the Minor Associations’ second innings was a rout. Four wickets fell with only 35 runs on the slate, but from then on the batsmen consolidated their position, and 150 came up in 100 minutes.
