IA SMAN -M A RIRI 15 It AN € H At the annual meeting of the Tas-man-Mariri branch of the W.D.F.U. there was a good attendance of members. Both ladies were presented with bouquets by Mrs Coleman.

The remainder of the afternoon was spent in social intercourse, and members of the Mapua branch attended to wish their sister branch all good wishes for the New Year. Competitions and a reading helped to amuse the gathering; and afternoon tea was dispensed, including a Christmas cake presented by the president. The meeting closed with the singing of the National Anthem, and an exchange of good wishes for Christmas and the New Year.
