I PRICES EASE IN DUNEDIN ( . iln I'rlegraph -Press Association! DUNEDIN, 19th October. A sale of sheepskins was held to-day, when a full bench of buyers was represented. Large catalogues were offered by various selling brokers. Owing to lack of overseas orders, and the depresI sed state of the market caused by the j uncertain international outlook and re- ] stricted American and Japanese compe- ! tition, prices were from 3d to 9d per ib. below those ruling at the last auction.
Following is a range of prices:—Fine halfbred full-wool, 13d; fine halfbred full-wool, 127 d; fine halfbred three-quarter-wool, to It'd; fine halfbred half-wool, to 97c1; fine halfbred quar-ter-wool, lo 9',cl.
