Attention is drawn to the advertisement in this issue of the dance to be held by the N.Z. National Party in the Stoke Hail, to-morrow night.
In yesterday's advertisement for St. Mary’s Troop of Boy Scouts advertising their concert which is being held to-morrow in St. Mary’s Hall, lire time of starting inadvertently read 2 p.m.; this should have been 8 p.m. A great deal of practice has been put into the concert and the direction is in the capable hands of Mr E Barry. Tickets are now on sale from inbers of the Scout Troop.
The second dance of tire Nelson Rowing Club's series will be held on Labour Day (25th October) from 8 p.m. to 3 a.m., and will introduce for the first time to Nelson the Embassy dance orcrestra. The committee will feature another ballet—l2 pupils of Miss Thelma Preece—also an exhibition dance, the “Rumba,” by Mr A. Lewis and Mrs J. Allen. Balloons, streamers. Monte Carlos, and other novelties will be featured.
