Word has been received from London that Mr J. S. Lee. junior, of Kawai street, has been successful in passing his chief engineer's examination. Mr E. McKay, of the Eastbourne Borough Council staff, has been appointed clerk and overseer to the Mount Hutt Roard Board, Methven. states a P.A. message from Ashburton.
