Dr. Schacht, Minister of Economy, and President of the Reichs Bank, handed his resignation to Herr Hitler on account of his disapproval of the Nazi economic policy. The Eritish United Press Berlin correspondent says it is revealed that Dr. Schacht recently sent a memorandum tc Herr Hitler demanding measures for

the stimulation of exports and the diversion of more raw materials and manufactures instead of rearmament and public works. It is not known whether the resignation will affect the presidency of the Reichs Bank.
