BRITISH STEAMER CAPTURED
WITHIN TERRITORIAL WATERS [United Press Association—liy Electric Telegraph—Copyright] (Received 10th September. 9.40 a.m.) LONDON, 9th September. The British steamer Stanwold, of 1019 lons, was captured by one of General Franco’s torpedo boats off' the Basque coast. The incident was witnessed by a British warship, but the Stanwold was in territorial waters and was not entitled to assistance.
