RIVAL SKIPPERS AGREE (United Press Assortaiinn-Rv Electric Telegraph -C»r.vriehtl (Received 9th September. 1.5 p.m.) HAMILTON (Bermuda), Bth Sept. A conference of rival skippers decided that the Joseph Conrad won the race by 55 seconds elapsed time, her toln> time being 10 days 6 hours 57 seconds.
The square-rigged sailing ships Joseph Conrad and Seven Seas were competing in a race from New York to Bermuda. The Joseph Conrad visited New Zealand some months ago.
