REQUEST TO RESIGN REFUSED
ALBERTA MINISTER OF AGRICULTURE [United Presß Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright! (Received Ist May, 2 p.m.) EDMONTON, 30th April. Mr W. N. Chant, Minister of Agriculture, refused Mr Aberhart’s request to resign. The Premier stated that more aggressiveness and efficiency were needed in the department. Mr Chant in a letter declared that his responsibly to his electorate forbade his resignation.
