CONFUSION WORSE CONFOUNDED

NEW ARBITRATION COURT JUDGE WANTED AUCKLAND, 22nd April. The Auckland Trade Union Secretaries’ Association passed a resolution stating that the association viewed with aiarm the serious position which hds -arisen owing to the inability of the Arbitration Court to cope with the work. A strong protest was alsd made against the irregular and unconstitutional method adopted to deal with the situation which the association feels will lead to a condition of confusion worse confounded. The association urges the Government to ensider the immediate appointment of a new judge of the Court. The resolution follows the indisposition of Mr Justice Page and the decision to let the two lay members carry on meanwhile.
