PRISONER LEAPS FROM DOCK PURSUERS OUTDISTANCED [United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright] LONDON, 22nd April. Charles McMorrow, after conviction for smuggling and the imposition of a fine of £IOO or six months’ imprisonment at Dowra, County Leitrim, leapt from the dock, sprinted and outdistanced his pursuers, plunged into the river Shannon and swam to the other side. He headed for the Cuilcagh mountains on the boundary of the Free Stale and Ulster.
