IMPRISONED FOR FRAUD
CANDIDATE FOR MONTREAL MAYORALTY (United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyi'ight) MONTREAL, 24th November. Mr Edward De Patrick, who contested the mayoralty recently on the slogan, “Shoot all criminals; any man ■who runs foul of the law deserves to be shot,” was imprisoned to-day for two years for fraud. Thanking the judge, he said that every dictator needs first-hand experience of the penal system.
