MASONIC ORDER

GOVERNOR-GENERAL INSTALLED GRAND MASTER (United Press Association) DUNEDIN, 25th November. The forty-seventh annual communication of the Grand Lodge of Ancient, Free and Accepted Masons of New Zealand was held to-day, Colonel James J. Esson, grand master, presiding. His Excellency the GovernorGeneral, Lord Galway, was elected grand master, and Bro. William Lishner was elected pro-grand master. Bro. A. H. Hobbes was appointed by his Excellency as deputy-grand master, Bro. George S. Gordon, of Wanganui, as senior grand warden, and Bro. Wilfred W. Wright, of Auckland, junior grand warden. Lord Galway-was duly installed in office this evening.

It was decided to hold the annual communication of the Grand Lodge at Auckland next year.
