UNEMPLOYMENT RETURNS
DECREASE LAST MONTH (By Telegraph—Press Association) WELLINGTON, This Day. The latest returns of unemployment in New Zealand show a decrease of 1428 for the four-weekly period ended 20th September, compared with the figures for the preceding month, and a reduction of 10,925 since 28th September last year. The total unemployed on 26th September was 49.419.
