WORKERS’ 2s A DAY HOTEL
A “hotel” to accommodate 5,000 guests is to be erected at Koenigswinter, one of the most beautiful spots on the Rhine. Occupation will be restricted to German working men and women whose stay in the “hotel” will average ten days, for which they will pay 2s a day. The grounds have been purchased by the German as a recuperation centre, the building will have its own cinema and theatre, bathing pool, and fleet of Rhine boats. A thousand attendants will look after the visitors.
