ATTEMPTED MURDER CHARGE

DOMESTIC DISPUTE ALLEGED (United Press Association) WANGANUI, 6:h October. As a result of what is alleged to have been a domestic dispute between two brothers and the wife of one of them, Matthew Hill, aged 31, a Maori was charged to-day with attempting to murder Alice Hill. He was remanded to 14th October on bail of £2OO and two sureties of £2OO.

It is alleged that a rifle was fired in the house and that the bullet penetrated a duor and went out through the roof. No one was injured.
