FOUR BALL COMPETITION The final of the four ball knock-out competition which has been played throughout the season resulted in a win for Huggins and Masefield who beat Ryder and Hargreaves, three and one in the final. CAPTAIN’S TROPHY , The captain’s trophy, which is played on handicap and for which most of the members of the club entered, has now reached its final stages. In the semi-final Griffin defeated M. Rout, and Sutherland is to play N. Rout in the other half. On Saturday last a four ball bogey was played, the best cards handed in being as follows: Huggins and Moulder 5 up, Elliott and Maunsell 5 up, Stedman and Humphrey 3 up, Trathen and Wells 4 up.
