The shipping company Osaka Shosen Kaisha is re-establishing separate direct lines to Australia on 25th October with the Canberra Maru and the Tokio Maru, and to New Zealand on 23th October with the Sydney Maru, the Melbourne Maru and the Brisbane Maru.
