UNDUE OPTIMISM NOT WARRANTED COMPARISON WITH DOMINION (United Press Association —By Electric Telegraph—Copy right) (Received 3rd October, 10.20 a.m). CANBERRA, This Day. Although the Commonwealth Government, according to the Commonwealth Veterinary Officer in London, Mr lr. Tinney is actively extending its policy of shipping chilled instead of frozen beef to London, the quality remains lower than that of some competitors in meat. Mr Tinney says that undue optimism is not warranted when the results achieved by the Commonwealth are compared with those obby New Zealand producers. He describes Australian beef as “quite nice.” and New Zealand beef as ‘excellent.”
