SHIP’S BUTCHER DISAPPEARS UNSUCCESSFUL SEARCH (By Tclegi aph—Press Association) WELLINGTON, This Day. When the liner Rotorua was off Cast'.epoint, the ship’s butcher, G. Cook, was reported to be missing. A thorough search of the vessel failed to reveal the missing man and the liner put about and for two hours steamed slowly back over her course in search of Cook. The search was unsuccessful and the Rotorua was once more put on her course for Wellington. It is stated that Cook had been somewhat strange in manner for some days past.
