CHARGE OF NEGLIGENT DRIVING CAUSING DEATH AND FAILING TO STOP (By Telegraph—Press Association) GREYMOUTH, This Day. John Cyril O’Donnell, aged 27 years, single, was committed for trial on charges of negligently driving a car causing the death of William Ramsay Burt at Greymouth, and also with failing to stop to ascertain whether he had injured Burt, and failing to render assistance. At the inquest a verdict was returned that Burt died as the result of a fracture of the base of the skull as the result of a collision between a motor car driven by O’Donnell and a motor cycle ridden by Burt.
