VISIT OF LOVELOCK

ASSURED OF GREAT RECEPTION (By Telegraph--Press Association) WELLINGTON, This Day. Advice has been received by the Minister of Internal Affairs, the Hon. W. E. Parry, that the famous miler, J. Lovelock, leaves California on the 14th for New Zealand. Mr Parry says one can visualise the wholeheartedness of the reception that will be given to a man wonderful yet modest in great performances, whose praiseworthy achievements all can heartily applaud. All naturally wish to see him and a shake of the hand will carry much with it.
