SIR EDWIN HARDING

PERMANENT UNDERSECRETARY’S VISIT :British Official Wireless) RUGBY, 30th September. With the Secretary of State’s approval, Sir Edwin Harding, Permanent Under-Secretary for Dominions Affairs, has accepted an invitation from the Government of South Australia to attend the centenary celebrations at Adelaide in December. Arrangements have also been made for Sir Edwin Harding to make a short stay in New Zealand on his way out and to spend a few days in the Commonwealth capital and in other Australian States. He will return to London early in February. During his absence Sir Harry Batterbee will act as Permanent Under-Secretary.
