CORRESPONDENCE MATTERS

(To The Editor)

Sir, —Having left Nelson I wish to thank you for the generous space you save me to express my views on world affairs. Although I have left Nelson I do not intend losing touch with your delightful town and hope some day to return. On reading your paper in the Wellington Library I notice the 50-50 correspondence is still going on, but I am sorry to see that it is not on as high a level as it should be; there is room in the correspondence for a wider canvass and a greater depth of feeling, and if you will permit me I should like later on to refer to the subject of which I originally wrote. Also I should like to see their names to their contributions, and so get into closer touch with each other and the community generally.— I am, etc., GERALD TURNER.
