■FORTNIGHTLY MEETING VISIT OF WELLINGTON DRUIDS AT EASTER - t The fortnightly meeting of Maitai Lodge No. 15, U.A.0.D., was held in the Orange Hall, Collingwood street, last evening. There was a good attendance, presided over by the Arch Druid (Bro. W. Ricketts). A motion conveying the sympathy of the lodge to Bro. Jensen and family in their recent.sad bereavement was carried in the customary manner. Included in the correspondence received was a letter of appreciation from (he Grand Secretary on behalf of the Executive on the occasion of their visit to Nelson and district. A copy of the District President’s 1 annual report for 1935-36 was also received. The surgeon’s and sick visitors reports were received- and dealt with. Two candidates were initiated as lull benefit members of the Order. . The secretary of the Easter Entertainmeht committee (Bro. W. W. Delaney) reported that the Wellington Druids would arrive-in Nelson on Good Friday to play the annual cricketmatch for the Fletcher Shield. It was anticipated that oil Easter Saturday evening a reunion would he held, on Easter Sundav tlie visitors would visit Tapawern. and on Easter Monday would attend, a meeting of the Maitai Lodge and afterwards be the guests of _ the Combined Friendly Societies committee at a dance in the Velma Hall. Sick nay and accounts amounting to £2B Is 3d were passed for payment.
