DEATH FROM BURNS

ELDERLY WOMAN AT CHRISTCHURCH (By Telegraph—Press Association) CHRISTCHURCH, This Day. An elderly woman, Airs Leila Frances Cooper, died in the Christchurch Hospital from severe burns received when her clothing caught fire. Mrs Cooper bandaged her own arms and hands and a doctor was not called till the evening, when it was discovered that she was very severely burned and was ordered to hospital.
