PERSONAL ITEMS

A large number of mourners attended the funeral of Mr Donald M. Stuart, president of the New Zealand Rugby Union, at Dunedin vhis morning (says a Press Association telegram). The cortege including over 100 cars. The service was conducted by the Revs. Scott Allen and D. C. Herron, and representatives were present from the New Zealand and Otago Rugby Unions and numerous sporting bodies. Wreaths were received from all over New Zealand, two cars being required to convey them to the cemetery.
