WITH BRITISH “ATMOSPHERE”

INTERNATIONALLY MINDED An American paper says: A recent trade magazine make’s a startling discovery about the 1935 10 best picturesThe selection proves that filmgoers are internationally minded and that about the only Americanism to the films is that they were produced in America. For example: Eight of the 10 have foreign locales in whole or in part- “ David Coppcrfield,” “The Lives of a Bengal Lancer,” and “The Informer,’ the first three winners, all stem from British locales. The first five winners are international or continental i.i background, while three out of four with American locales are musicals with continental atmosphere.
