KING EDWARD
(T T nited Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright) LONDON, Ist February. The “Scotsman’’ says it is understood that King Edward may visit India in the autumn of 1937 in response to the desire of all parties and creeds that the new Kmg-Fmpeior should hold a Durbar as the late King George did in the winter of 1911 after his coronation in midsummer. It adds that the suggest ion of a prolonged tour of the Dominions is impracticable owing to the fact that it would involve a long absence from Britain, but the Indian visit, could be carried out in less time and could be followed by special visits to the Dominions as opportunity offered in succeeding years.
