Arising out of the recent strike of seamen and firemen on New South Wales coastal vessels, Mr Justice Webb, of the Industrial Commission, to-day, on the application of shipowners cancelled the preference clause in the men p award. , ....... Melbourne seamen to-day fell into line with Sydney seamen and rejected the proposed terms for a settlement of th shipping strike.
