Savidan (Auckland), 1; N. Cooper (Auckland), 2; W. Pullar (Otago), 3. Savidan won by 150 yards, lime, 35 minutes 43 seconds. There were thirty starters. The teams' section resulted : Auckland 08 points ; Otago 33; Wellington 39, Canterbury 62; West Coast (North Island) 65; Hawkes Bay-Povertv Bay 103. . J The following team lias been selected to represent New Zealand at the Australian cross country championships to be held in Sydney on 17th August: Savidan (Auckland), Cooper (Auckland), Pullar (Otago), Stevens (Wellington), Riddington (Wellington), Geddes (Otago). The selectors have named the following runners to replace any of the above who are unable to make' the trip : Watson (Canterbury), Stewart (Otago).
