PLEDGES DISHONOURED

I.R.A. ATTACKS DE VALERA LONDON, 15th June. Advising Republicans not to vote at the coming by-elections in Galway and Dublin, a statement issued by the Irish Republican Army declaims, says the Dublin correspondent of the “Sunday Dispatch,” that Mr do Valera “has dishonoured the pledges to. end the coercion of Republicans on which lie was elected.” “At present,” the statement adds, ‘there are more Republicans in gaol than during the Cosgrave regime. Moreover, Republicans are denied the freedom to advocate their policy.” It is pointed out that the Republicans were largely instrumental in Mr do Valera’s success, and abstention from voting may affect Lianna Fail’s chances.
