PRISONER ESCAPES
FROM CAMP AT TOKAANU (By Telegraph—Press Association) AUCKLAND, This Day. A prisoner, Edgar Arthur Petersen (27), escaped on Wednesday night- from the prison camp, near Tokaanu. . The missing man, who was wearing prison clothes at the time of his escape, was sentenced in Wellington last month to five years’ reformative detention on charges of. breaking, entering, and theft, and breaking and entering with intent to commit a crime. He is described as being of sullen appearance. There is a scar over his left eye.
