Wallace 337 Informal 24 The total votes recorded were over HOD. Though the poll closed at 5 p.m. on the 23rd May, the votes were not counted by the Returning Officer (Mr N. V. Jones) until to-day owing to 8 days being allowed for the receipt of postal votes.
