SERIOUS OFFENCE
“SOCIETY MUST BE PROTECTED” (By Telegraph—Press Association) ,WELLINGTON This Day. Frederick Thomas McCormick, taxi driver, aged 35 years, was sentenced by the Chief Justice. Sir Michael Myers, to 10 years’ hard labour on charges of a serious offence against two boys, Sir Michael Myers saying that the interests of society demanded that the community be protected from persons addicted to vile and vicious practices.
